32 weeks 4 days.

8 months folks! I can't believe we will be welcoming this girl sometime in the next two months! This week has consisted of washing, folding, and painting. She also has been officially named ( first+middle) :)
God has been incredibly faithful throughout this whole pregnancy taking care of our sweet girl! She is growing like a weed! She's my little acrobat and enjoys body rolling pretty much all. day. long. 😍
We recently enjoyed a trip to Florida to visit with family and friends and realized that next time we see most of them we will have our little nugget in our arms! So exciting!
And now.. Pictures.

Best friend birthday surprise!

23 years of birthdays together!

Baby moon at Clearwater beach! Back to the exact spot where we first hung out and later got engaged!

This cutie kept crawling over and hugging the belly. 😍

I can still see the feet! Woot!

Bump alert.

27 week update and secret surprise!

I know folks. It took me 27 weeks to start blogging pregnancy updates. But I have been surprised at how fast the time has flown by!
**If you're bored by random prego facts you probably won't enjoy this portion**
First of all, it has been so incredible to hear all of the love and encouragement from our friends and family during this time. We are so incredibly blessed to be welcoming our sweet baby girl and we wouldn't change a thing. :) we have honestly learned so much already and are so thankful that God has a perfect plan that we get to discover along the way!
This pregnancy has been pretty manageable so far. I was only sick a little bit in the evenings at the beginning and other than being tired and sore and having a bladder the size of a quarter it has been great! I started feeling her move around week 21 and I love watching my belly jump around. 😍
So here is a quick rundown of a few things I have learned in the past 27 weeks:
1. Mommy guilt is a real thing.
.... And it starts early. Honestly the amount of internal pain I have inflicted on myself after eating a Reese's cup is ridiculous. It's all about balance and that is a lesson best learned early.
2. Everybody has an opinion.
.... And loves to share it. Cloth diaper or disposable? Breastfeed or formula? Vaccinate or not? The list goes on and on.
3. I can't worry about everyone else.
This has been the biggest lesson of all.

Anyway. Enough rambling. This has been and will continue to be one of the biggest growing experiences in my life! God is so good and we could not be more thankful and amazed by his incredible blessings!

And now. The pictures.
9 weeks.

Yea, taking advantage of that.

16 weeks.

We had the ultrasound tech write down the gender and opened it together at dinner! It was so special to find out together, just the two of us. :)

It's the truth. 😘

Crib building!

I will do my best to update more! Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me this long. 😂😘

Back in the swing.

Woah. Cannot believe it has taken me this long to write my second blog post! So much has happened since August. George and I found a church that we love, I found a job, George got A's through his first trimester of medical school, we celebrated the holidays in Florida and Virginia and are now settling back into normal everyday life. It has been a busy but exciting whirlwind. :) God has blessed us with an incredible church family and sweet sweet friends. At least once a day we talk about the fact that we live a very blessed life! The theme for the last few months has been the sovereignty of God. We reallyphave been learning that God's way is always the best way. :)
XOXO Rach

Casting my cares.

Casting all your cares upon him because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7) this has been my verse for the past month since George and I moved from FL---> VA. We have had an incredible month starting our new adventure! George is currently on week 2 of medical school and I am on week 2 of homemaking and job searching. We have had incredible support and love throughout the whole process and are so thankful for the people that are in our life. :) As I sat around my apartment this morning trying to think of what else I could POSSIBLY clean, I decided to do something that I have wanted to do for a few years..... Start a blog. I hope that this blog will show everybody a little bit of what our life is about these days and help us keep everyone updated! I will probably be sharing recipes, crafts, and life updates on here, enjoy!
XOXO Rachel
